Live webinar: Sustainable Development Goals at Frederick University

Frederick University, through the Professionalisation of Undergraduate Academic Teaching (PUAT) project, will be hosting a webinar on how the university integrates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). PUAT is co-coordinated by RCE Crete, HELTASA, University of Crete, University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, University of Venda and Rhodes University

The webinar will tackle how the SDGs should be integrated into multiple academic disciplines and how an academic institution can be a driving force for the UN SDGs 2030 Agenda.

Key questions to be addressed during the discussion:

  • Why should a Higher Education institution care about the SDGs?
  • What does one look for while integrating SDGs in a Higher Education Institution?
  • How should a Higher Education Institution integrate the SDGs and what would the impact be?

Dr Chrysanthi Kadji-Beltran, associate professor in Education for the Environment and Sustainable Development at Frederick University, is the key speaker for this webinar.
