On Monday, 19 July 2021, University of Johannesburg (UJ) Vice-Chancellor Prof Tshilidzi Marwala will be launching Teaching Innovation for the 21st Century: a collection of UJ teaching and learning vignettes. This publication by UJ’s Division of Academic Planning, Quality Promotion and Academic Staff Development (DAPQPASD) was created to develop an in-depth and rich scholarship of teaching and learning. It showcases innovative teaching practices at UJ and will certainly become a useful resource for academic developers as they contend with rapidly evolving technologies.
The launch, chaired by DVC Academic (designate) Prof Letlhokwa Mpedi, will take the form of a conversation on Teaching and Learning in the Pandemic between the DVC Academic, Prof Angelina Parekh and Council for Higher Education CEO, Dr Whitfield Green.
