The Centre for Higher Education Research, Teaching and Learning at Rhodes University is now accepting applications for a two-year, part-time Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education for Academic Developers (2021 – 2022).
The aim of this Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education, registered on the HEQSF as a level 8 qualification, is to enhance the knowledge and competencies of staff in teaching and learning units/centres whose role it is to contribute to the transformation of higher education in a range of ways, including student development and professional development for academic staff as educators in higher education institutions.

At this stage, we are optimistically looking forward to teaching the course in face-to-face mode as outlined in the above document. However, as everyone is aware, this may not be possible in light of the COVID-19 epidemic. Should we not be able to meet, we will facilitate the modules using online teaching.
